Youth School Leavers Trip - Scotts Head 2024

  • The Christian Youth Centre 7 Banksia Crescent Scotts Head, NSW, 2447 Australia (map)

It’s time to unwind, relax and enjoy sunny beaches and good times with friends…

Our school leavers will be heading up the north east coast for 6 days to Scotts Head, where they can kick back at the beach, hit up the surf, hear Bible talks and be in community with others. If the beach isn’t your thing then there’s volleyball and a skatepark, board games and bush walks.

Directors: Brittany Beattie and Jesse Baker

Brittany is an MTS trainee and Jesse is the Youth Minister at Christ Church St Ives. Outside of work, you’ll find Brittany on a run or reading a book by the beach, and Jesse in the water catching waves.

Itinerary

Each morning, we will spend time together listening to God’s word from the book of Hebrews from our youth team. We will also spend time in quiet, personal reflection in the book of Romans.

In the afternoons, we’ll have the freedom to enjoy Scotts Head and it’s surrounding, including the beautiful beach, exploring bush walks, playing spike-ball, hitting the on-site skate-park and the electrifying afternoon playing lawn bowls.

By the evening, we’ll wind down with prayer, hearing testimonies from peers and singing together around the fire. There will also be a chance for games and conversations after dinner.

Leaders

There will be various leaders on camp, including our Youth and Families minister, Senior High team leaders and regular Year 12 leaders, as well as a few extras. All leaders have a valid Working with Children Check and Safe Ministry training.
